Privacy policy

What we collect

• Visit analytics. Our own analytics (webstats) and Google Analytics 4 record the pages you view, the links and codes you click or copy, how long you stay, page speed, your browser and device, your IP address and approximate location, and where you came from. We use this to see which bonuses help people and to improve the site. We keep it for up to two years (Google Analytics: 14 months).
• Emails you send us. If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply. We delete them when they're no longer needed.

Cookies we use

• _wsv (2 years) and _wss (30 minutes): our analytics visitor and session ids.
• _wso: remembers that you switched analytics off.
• _wsi: marks our own team's browsers so our visits aren't counted.
• _ga and _ga_<id> (up to 2 years): Google Analytics.

When you leave HelloBonus

When you click a referral link, you go to the brand's own website or app. From then on, the brand's own privacy policy applies. The brand may tell us that a referral was completed, but not your personal details beyond what its own referral terms describe.

Some brands use a cookie on their own website to record referrals. Our cookie policy explains how this works.

Where the site is hosted

HelloBonus is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, it processes basic technical data (such as IP addresses) to deliver pages and keep the site secure. Emails to our address are forwarded by Cloudflare Email Routing.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask what personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Email hello@hellobonus.co.uk. If you're unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
