How to get the TopCashback bonus, step by step

Open our invite link and sign up straight away
Tap “Open TopCashback invite” and create your account on that same visit. TopCashback only records the referral when you sign up on the click-through from the link.

Confirm your account
TopCashback sends you an email to confirm (it calls this authenticating your account). The referral doesn't count until you do.

Choose Plus or Classic
New accounts start on Plus, which takes £5 a year from your cashback in return for higher rates. If you'd rather keep everything, switch to Classic in Membership details before you start earning.

Shop through TopCashback
Before you buy online, find the shop on TopCashback and click through from its page. Your cashback is tracked on that click, then the shop approves it.

Reach £10 of approved cashback
Once at least £10 of your cashback is approved within 180 days, TopCashback adds your £10 bonus. You withdraw it by bank transfer.

- Cashback from excluded brands, such as giffgaff, Gousto, Apple Music, Amazon Music and Norton
Who can get it
- You're new to TopCashback UK. Only genuine new sign-ups count, and extra accounts for the same person can be closed.
- You sign up on the same visit as clicking our link.
- You join during the current offer dates. The bonus you get is the one TopCashback advertises at the moment you sign up.
- You reach £10 of approved cashback at eligible shops within 180 days of joining.
Is there a TopCashback referral code I can type in?
No. TopCashback referrals work through a link, not a code box. The word at the end of our link (topreferrals) is the name of our invite, and TopCashback reads it when you arrive from the link.
The important part is timing: sign up on the same visit. If you close the page and come back later by typing topcashback.co.uk, the referral isn't recorded.
How does TopCashback work?
Shops pay TopCashback a commission when you buy through it, and TopCashback passes that money back to you as cashback. You pay the shop's normal price.
Cashback isn't ready straight away. It first shows as tracked, then the shop approves it, and then it becomes payable so you can withdraw it. Only approved cashback counts towards the £10 you need for the sign-up bonus.
How much is the TopCashback sign-up bonus in 2026?
For people who join through a referral link between 29 September and 31 October 2026, the sign-up bonus is £10. The person who invited you gets £25 if they're a Plus member or £20 if they're on Classic.
TopCashback changes its referral offers often, sometimes every few weeks. Its terms say you get the bonus that's advertised at the moment you sign up, so check the invite page when you join. We re-check this page when the current offer ends.
Didn't get your bonus? Common reasons
I clicked the link but signed up later
The referral only counts if you sign up on the same click-through. If you haven't joined yet, open the link again and sign up straight away.
My cashback is tracked but not approved
Shops approve cashback after their own checks. Only approved cashback counts towards the £10, so the bonus arrives after that.
My cashback came from an excluded brand or a deal
Cashback from excluded brands, new member deals and bonus promotions doesn't count. Keep shopping at other eligible shops until you pass £10.
I already had a TopCashback account
The bonus is for genuine new members only. Opening a second account can get both accounts closed.
